My computer can not play HD, and I have no methods of watching my downloads on our blu-ray player or PS3.

just get the PS3 Media server
http://code.google.com/p/ps3mediaserver/downloads/list
and stream it from pc to ps3. Only problems I will say with the set-up though is that it won't play 10-bit and won't display subtitles. With this particular release, neither of those are problems (it's hardsubbed), so it should work well!

That would require me to have an internet connection for my PS3 to "receive" though.

True, I do have Internet, but it's Cable/Broadband, not Wi-Fi.

I know theres some kind of stigma with it but i have pretty good sucsess with Vuse transcoding and use this mkv spliter
http://www.bunkus.org/videotools/mkvtoolnix/ to re mux the file with the audio channel i want.  other than hard subs i haven't tried to figure out how to get the subs to trans code, but what is awsome about the vuse set up is one the files muxed with the correct audio track I can then transcode it for appl android ps3 xbox what ever it's actually pretty cool.  I'll look around for what i can do about the subs next.  about the 10 bit I have one coding right now that i'll try out tonight and see if it works and report back i thought i had already had one work but i don't see it so mybe i was mistaken.

Can i be allowed a download link so i can seed the series? I can provide the information of where i obtained my copy to make sure it's the same as this one.

EDIT: If that's not possible i can always wait the rest of the time before i can join the swarm

Using ps3 media server over wifi sucks balls anyway. Just get an ethernet cord. If you do use ps3 media server, then pick tsmuxer if this is hardcoded and it should play without lag assuming you have at least 1GB ram.

My computer only has 256 MB Physical RAM, and the CPU is an Intel Pentium 4 at 2.20 GHz.

That should not matter since I'd be playing the episodes on my PS3 though, right?

Assuming the ps3 media server is doing what it is supposed to do on this case(i.e. not decoding and encoding anything), it should not matter.
You won't be able to play softsubbed releases though, as those require your PC to real time encode and decode.

If you like straightforward anime for younger people, this should be a nice watch for you.

I got bored after 3 episodes, watched all of it tho since theres nothing better at this time to watch, but yea it is for a younger audience if you want to be entertained by it.

I'm sure I can handle softsubbed if it's 480p...

I had a worse pc, hardsubs should play fine. That's a huge plus for them, you can even stream 1080p with a really low end computer if the subs are hardcoded.

ConvertxtoDVD    converts mkv to dvd (720x480) with subs dubs and all.... on a very old system like yours expect to encode a 24 minute ep in about an hour... however if you put it on dvd its good to go anywhere ye have a player. (P.S. DON"T SELL EM!!!!) :!:
I have a pentium4 duo and 3 gigs ram...takes 8 hours to encode 12 eps of 720p 10bit to a dvd i can watch when using a portable ouside the house. (beach, on trips, at the cabin by the lake etc.

Good series, rather liked the creature designs, although I'd have put "Edutainment" as a tag, as it was kind of made to help kids learn some Chemistry (that ending song....so amazing yet will live in your head forever)

It SEEMS like the video/audio are off by around 150ms for me. If you're using MPC and having a similar problem of offsyncness, you can fix by holding + on numpad til you get to 150ms sound delay.
