Seems tri4 plans on doing a v3 with encodes of the Italian Madoka BDs because they look better than the JP BDs (the Japanese are bad at video almost always)

Anyway, assuming all turns out well this will probably mean I will be making a torrent swap request with those v3 encodes

Wow, talk about minuscule differences. I know I wouldn't want to redownload 16 GB just because there might be hardly noticeable increase in quality. It's okay for first-time downloaders but I would recommend not to swap.

So I downloaded this and now I can't get the video to work.(The whole screens just green) I'm using VLC so I'm guessing I might just need to use a different video player. Can someone suggest one to me

The reason for the green screen is because this is what is known as 10-bit video, and the old VLC you are using does not support 10bit color depth, hence the green only but your sound still works. 10bit is usually better quality, i said usually as it depends how the file is encoded, and is most of the time a smaller filesize than 8bit (the standard you are using now), thats why so many people are starting to use it

I REALLY SUGGEST THAT YOU DON'T USE VLC (and don't be a scrub that uses CCCP either... seriously, there is no point to CCCP, just install ffdshow)-----TRY WHAT THE WONDERFUL MEMBER OF TRI4 SUGGESTS!!!

Why does everyone rag on VLC, since the update I think its better than MPC...

The same thing happened to me, but I hit the "check for updates thing" and it updated and worked fine.

Or instead of wasting time with pointlessly complicated separate component installations, you could just follow this guide. Also, saying that using CCCP makes one a "scrub" is a ridiculously dumb attitude, you should drop that.

Using PotPlayer for about a year, been using KMPlayer before that. Tried MPC-HC but it's quite limited compared to PP. Different strokes and all that...

if anyone has problems try vlc player , cccp the new version , or install cccp and use its settings to watch it on window media player or just actually look up video players that support the video format in which you want to watch its that simple not everything in the world is compatible for all the video formats on bakabt even with the rules in play each new format . for example a 1080p format video is downsized to mp4 or something you then loose quality its just the facts of life bc your squeezing the info down that actually looses the pixle and contrast due to no room to display the orig format properly bc it was downsized so class since we learned something useful to

Just Download CCCP, the codecs in that work with the latest VLC Player. So you can set it to auto-select audio and subtitles. Use the one that comes with CCCP when a video lags.


As far as this series goes, normally I don't watch shows with a lot of hype, and magical girl shows even less, but this one is different. Its like they switched all the usual happiness and bright colors around. It's showing only the darkest possibilities of being a Mahou Shoujo, and I'm not talking about the constant tentacle rape of other shows.
