There technically can be a 2nd season as the light novel is finished.
The 12-volume light novel was finished late September 2010, but he sadly passed away April 2011.

It's not like your ratio for a torrent goes to 1.000 in a day, more like a week. Sometimes even if a torrent is small but not popular a month or so. Therefore, it requires time, lots of it. Good luck.

It's not like your ratio for a torrent goes to 1.000 in a day, more like a week. Sometimes even if a torrent is small but not popular a month or so. Therefore, it requires time, lots of it. Good luck.

This is an example of how Wikipedia can be misleading. The light novel isn't "complete". Rather, the author died before he could finish it. The Wikipedia article only marks it as complete because there are obviously no more volumes coming out. Believe me, I was devastated to read the obituary when I had been waiting for the 11th volume for months (2 of those 12 volumes you mentioned are extras which contribute absolutely nothing to the story). The first season skipped a lot of material between episodes, so I don't know whether there's enough left for a second season. Maybe it could go back and cover those missed chapters in an anime-original timeline. Who knows? Anyways, looks like the manga wrapped things up in February. Time to check that out.
