The subtitles aren't showing for me. Is there something I can do? The main program I use is DivX, with VLC player as a backup.

.ass files contain subtitles. I don't know why subbers didn't placed them inside the .mkv - that's how it usually done.

I also can't get the Subs to show 
I use WMP with K lite codec pack and have been able to play everything. Is there a special codec out there for WMP? Did CCCP codecs work for it?

Ghost8695; did you get these vids to work with CCCP and VLC? I downloaded the CCCP codec pack and tried to play them in VLC player, but no luck I still have K-lite codec pack on so that could be interfering with CCCP but I didn't want to go to the hassel of unistalling and re-installing.
Or maybe it's cause windows 7 is just crap. I have no clue.

remove any codec but CCCP. then use MPC
in that way shit won't interfere with your .ass files getting read
