Yeah, I apologize to ToyBox and everyone else who's been waiting months for the OVA. I wanted to push and get it done this week, but I had trouble finding free time where I was awake, focused, and in the mood for this show and its challenges. In the end, I think this is for the best, as you get subs for the OVA from the original group instead of a random hired-gun TL.

EDIT: Though I have to wonder why Ayako took the DVD video down to 704x400...

No problem Zalis, that's perfectly understandable. In that case I'll add Ayako's release.

Perhaps you could offer your version in the future. Desbreko said his work on GA has been put on the back-burner and won't be ready for quite a while, your OVA may be a good fit to go with that whenever it gets offered.

Yeah, I've still got a few things ahead of GA on my list. So, if no one else wants to do the grunt work of refitting the subs to my raws, it'll be months before I get to it.

I've never seen this, but it appears to be geared toward a younger audience.  I was wondering why this has a seinen tag.  Just curious, not trying to nit-pick.

lokisminion no it's not targeted on to any audience. it's Kawaii-Moe Daily Life anime where is no actual plot  or drama. all smooth and fluffy

Does anyone want a OVA styled just like the rest of the Polished episodes?

Does ToyBox have to choke a bitch? I'll download the Ayako OVA and if I find the time make a patch for my stylings. No promises, though.

1) Why names of characters in episode 1 ( 09:28 ) switched?
トモカネさん means Tomokane-san, not Noda-chan.
のだちゃん means Noda-chan, not Tomokane-san.

2) Why text in episode 4 ( 07:01 ) worse styled than Ayako's one?

Hah. Hadn't noticed that. What's funny is that even if you can't read the Japanese characters, you can tell the names are wrong because of the pictograms.

Why were they switched, you ask? Here's a comment ToyBox made with regards to episode 1:
» ToyBox
It is possible that there are mistakes either introduced (poor retiming) or inherent (poor timing when Ayako did the original subs). High possibility for the first, as I lost a lot of shit when Aegisub crashed hard twice last night. I may have missed something when redoing the subs after each crash as there was a. Lot of shit I was tracking and altering.

In this case, it was an inherent mistake in Ayako's subs.

3) Why TL note (explanation)  in episode 4 ( 12:39 ) was cut out?

Because I felt it was a useless note since we already know she is being taught to speak Japanese "properly" so she is obviously not saying something properly.
