Ecchi not only mean terrible...you know ?

May be you forget about Code Geass, that show also in ecchi type.

Whatever, good or bad show I think it not judge by what type it is.

But judge from what the whole story give you.

Is not it  ?

Why is this in Group C:SD despite being H264/720p? Is this a mistake or is the encoding so poor it deserves to be in C?

Great show with a good story and excellent visuals.  The tail end of the series didn't go where I'd hoped but great show nonetheless.

Very very good with a minimum of filler and an excellent plot arc.  Animation art is very good, but not exceptionally "artsy" for the most part. Character development works well, though it sometimes lags in relation to the plot.  Nice character inversions as it progresses, so that bad guys (or characters) can become good or, at least, have understandable motivation.  Probably one of the top three anime I have d/l from BakaBT this year.

I totally dropped this show on its head. I only had 10 episodes to go, but i just couldn't force myself to finish it.

The show started out in what seemed to be a kid's show for adults (if that makes sense) You got a bunch of youngsters playin this awesome game that gets more and more complex, collecting currency they use to get uhh... cyber weapons for there cyber battles.. or whatever. Then they proceed to get into epic fights with each other!

But then the plot gets waaay to serious and waaay to personal
I mean if a company released a product that could potentially kill someone or can cause some major catastrophe they would pull it out of the market in a jiffy.

Then you got those dumb adults joining in, waisting there time on this fiasco. (get a boyfriend lady, and stop playing with 5th graders ...)

But the thing i hate the most is when a character makes a surprise appearance and everyone one yells his or her name in unison  :wall:. that goes for all anime, please quit that shit... 2/5

Dennou Coil is a great anime but not for everyone!

It is not everyone cup of tea. To watch this one you need to activate your imagination and some computer science basics!

The anime plot is one of the captivating plots you may see. Imagine that the cyber space (Internet) is around you and everywhere! You can access it whenever and wherever you like, in your neighborhood, around the corner, in the house and in your room.

And surprisingly you do not need a laptop to access; you just need a pair of glasses!

I think most of us like to collect anime, and for me I just keep the best, those anime that I will want to watch again. And Dennou Coil is in top of my list!

I just got out of Bokurano and loved it for how hideously depressed I got. Is this worth a shot for the same reasons? :3

Not depressing but sad at parts. In Bokurano, the primary characters were forced through that crap, facing only a moral dilemma and then death. In Dennou Coil, I suppose morality and despair are themes, but let's just say the power of friendship is also a theme. I still can't recommend it highly enough.

only up to ep.3 and tis awesome so far =3
on the other hand, this has to be one of the most annoying subs out there.
its not horrible or anything per se, but theres all these personal notes left by the person who did the subs, some which might be useful to the nitpickers, but mostly just annoyances. like how he likes the way the granny speaks.. or to mention how long it took before he equated space=cyberspace. for the third time. rambling on about word choice etc. if the anime wasn't this good i'd have dropped it just for the annoying subs alone. =/
still, gotta love the anime, proving worth downloading so far

I hate to say this blubart, but as good as your description is, you are missing links to AniDB, MAL, ANN and Related.

Downloading this before the insanely huge Coalgirls version inevitably gets approved.
