I agree with Seryass... this really should not be seen before the series. My opinion as that you don't watch it until after the series, which is what I did, because I get the feeling it would have ruined a bit of the series for me... but I can't explain it without ruining some of the plot for you, so if you are anxious to see the movie, at least wait 4 eps in... if you aren't bouncing off the wall to see it, wait until after the series... it's like a bonus treat! ^_^

Oh, This was so worth it! After watching the series, this was such a treat! Well it certainly explains some of my doubts about how suddenly some things happened (I can't spoil, so...). I loved this so much!! It was so cute... the greatness of this series is that everything is so pure-hearted and gorgeous... They don't make series like this one anymore... :'-(

have any one the soundtrack ? i look for it over 2 weeks and i want it so much I don't know about the version that this was made from, but back on the laserdisc it was monaural.
One audio channel (R/L) had the regular sound track for the video, the other audio channel had only the background music, rather then making a separate CD.
The two channels weren't quite in sync, so the movie would sound better with only one audio channel selected.

Actually this is not a prequel to the series and if you watch it before the first few episodes you might end up a bit confused.My advice is to watch the first 4 episodes at least of the TV series before watching the movie.
i dont know who ever wrote this message but i have to say thanks a lottttttttttttttt...... really i appreciated you tell to watch first four episodes i really loved this anime so much i could not stop , i miss it because it got over,its such a good anime i loved it , still it hurts to think of the bad things yuu and miki went through
